I help people solve problems with clarity, creativity, and purpose.
I’m a senior marketing professional and educator with a passion for strategy, storytelling, and results. I believe in clear, thoughtful processes that make work easier and more effective. My goal is to simplify what feels complicated and turn big challenges into small, manageable steps. As a lifelong learner, I am always looking for ways to stay current with trends in the AEC industry, marketing or education. AI has taken the world by storm with its rapid growth, and I want a front row seat to the future of marketing automation, project management and instruction.
I enjoy working with diverse teams and appreciate independent focus time. My core values are integrity, creativity, accountability and balance. The best work environments for me share these values. Following is an overview of my skills and areas of expertise.
Marketing Communications: For over a decade, I’ve helped architecture, engineering, interior design, and consulting firms win work by crafting proposals that tell a compelling story and speak directly to what clients need. From small renovations to large-scale construction projects, I manage every aspect of the proposal process; writing and editing content, coordinating schedules and resources, and working closely with marketing and project teams to deliver tailored, polished proposals that make it easy for clients to say yes. Throughout the process, I find reusable content and leverage CRM and project management tools to streamline workflows and keep everything on track.
Marketing Management: Beyond proposals, I’ve had the chance to work on a variety of marketing efforts, from creating interview presentations and social media posts to managing conferences, sponsorships, photography, and public relations. I love being involved in the details, whether it’s helping teams prep for interviews, offering coaching and feedback, or tracking metrics to see what’s working and where we can improve. I regularly share updates with leadership to keep everyone aligned. I’ve also closely tracked event-related costs like registrations, travel, and swag, and I bring that same level of care to managing my own finances.
Project Management: Juggling multiple deadlines is part of the job, so having a reliable project management tool is a game-changer. I’ve found Asana helpful for keeping everything organized, from proposals and conferences to communications, photography, and award submissions. It’s great having everything in one place with clear tasks and timelines. It makes my day-to-day smoother and helps teammates jump in and follow the process. Over time, that kind of consistency supports steady, sustainable growth.
People Management: Throughout my career, I’ve managed a variety of team members, including marketing coordinators, administrative staff, receptionists, technical staff, and interns. My approach to leadership focuses on recognizing each person’s strengths and helping them apply those strengths to support the team’s shared goals. To me, great leadership means empowering people to be the best version of themselves.
Teaching/Speaking Engagements: I teach online marketing courses at a community college, where I take a facilitator approach that encourages students to take ownership of their learning. I provide timely feedback and practical strategies to help them improve in areas like time management, content retention, and concept comprehension. In addition to teaching, I’ve led discussions, served on committees, and spoken at professional events to share best practices and tools for marketing and career development with students and emerging professionals.
Hobbies: Outside of work, I’m a sun-chaser, architecture lover, and memory-maker who thrives on quality time with family and friends. Time is our most valuable resource, and my philosophy is to make the most of every minute of it by living a life that’s authentic and aligned with my values. I fully immerse myself in travel experiences, creating memories that last a lifetime. I also indulge in my fair share of audiobooks and You-Tube videos on topics related to finance, philosophy, psychology, and travel.
